Filipiniana Section
The Filipiniana Section houses works done by Filipinos, or is about the Philippines and its people. Some of the materials that can be found there are the following:

Copies of State of the Nation Address (SONA)
A part of the Filipiniana Section contains samples of baby theses, a great reference for researchers. It also has a designated Mandaluyong Corner where news, reports, and some government documents about the city are located.
Reference Section
The Reference Section contains materials that are to be used for looking up information; they are not meant to be read from cover to cover. The KHCL Reference Section has the following materials:

Cookbooks and Home Remedies
The section also has the Britannica collection of Great Books which includes classic works of Plato, Aristotle, Darwin, and Marx, among others.
Serials Section
The Serials Section has the latest issues of the three main Philippine broadsheets - Philippine Daily Inquirer, Manila Bulletin, and the Philippine Star. It also has magazines of various titles, including, but not limited to:

Readers' Digest
It also houses the library's collection of novels. Some notable titles are the Narnia series, Les Miserables, and some Dan Brown works. The Section also has pamphlets on how to start small businesses.
Children's Section
The Children's Section houses materials for the younger library patrons. The Section has short stories, arts and crafts books, computer books, mathematics and science books.
The Children's Section also has an audiovisual materials collection, educational toys and desks where the little patrons can read, write and do arts and crafts.
The Children's Section is the library's usual venue for educational tours, storytelling activites, and film showing. It also hosts some competitions like essay writing and slogan-making contests. Please click here to see a presentation of the Section's recent activities.
